Manager, Intel Business Development

Manager of Intel Business Development: Company Brief: Our client is a successful $450M division of a larger, $1.7B federal integrator.  A key  Operation and Logistics divisions has expanded their charter into the Intelligence (INTEL) arena and at this time their Vice President of Business Development has asked us to identify a Manager of business development to join their team.  This division has superb qualifications and an excellent reputation within the Federal arena. 


 


Job Description: Reporting to the VP, the Manager of BD you will be part of an aggressive compensation plan and will possess experience in G-2 operations or linguistics within the Iraqi or Afghanistan theatres or the horn of Africa.  Additionally, exposure to INSCOM or some combination of Intel organizations is desired.  You may be a recently retired Army or Marine Corp officer looking to join a number of your peers in the Federal marketplace.  The Manager of BD will possess strong business development acumen and be able to identify and qualify new opportunities. You will be responsible for positioning our client at the forefront of opportunities within theatre or at INSCOM, CIA, DIA, or NSA.  You will possess a track-record of successfully finding and winning large scale opportunities and working with an established capture process.  You will possess exceptional leadership skills, quickly adapt to the changing Federal procurement landscape and work well within a diverse and complex organizational structure.  Our client offers a base compensation to $120k or more, depending upon experience, plus entry into an executive bonus plan.


 


Qualifications:  15 experience overall experience with two or more years of exposure to G-2, Linguistics, or Army and Marine activities within the Iraqi or Afghanistan theatres or the Horn of Africa. Alternatively, a strong background working with INSCOM, CIA, DIA, or the NSA is beneficial.  A degree is required. Travel in the range of 25% to 50% is required. The ability to hold a Government clearance is required and an active clearance is helpful.
