Marketing Analyst

 

Reports to: Director, Strategic Marketing Analysis
The Marketing Analyst will define, analyze, and report online marketing metrics that drive the profitability of the business. 

Primary responsibilities:

 Work with external customer acquisition  partners to establish reporting, and evaluate daily metrics that measure the performance of campaigns Work with external partners to maximize subscriber volume and customer quality Work with customer acquisition team to optimize campaigns, offers and landing pages based on detailed analysis of costs, click rates, conversion rates and customer quality Track and analyze the performance of customer retention programs for multiple customer segments Work with customer retention team to develop new retention programs that will drive improvements in lifetime value Track and analyze content usage by the Thumbplay membership base Track and analyze user behavior on thumbplay.com Make recommendations to senior management on how to improve performance and maximize marketing profitability Communicate reporting to partners on an ongoing basis and manage partner payments in partnership with finance team

 

Required qualification :

 1+ year business or marketing analysis experienceBasic understanding of online marketing metricsStrong analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills with individuals at both peer and management levels High attention to detail and ability to audit own work for accuracy and quality Ability to manage many projects at once Ability to create ad hoc spreadsheets and statistical graphs Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint Entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic BA/BS in Business, Marketing or related field
