Marketing Communication Professional

The Office of Technology Services of the Chicago Public Schools is seeking a marketing communication professional to join its communication team. The marketing communication professional will work with various project teams to market services to more than 600 schools.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Coordinate the development and maintenance of marketing materials, such as web pages and sales brochures;

 

Coordinate participation in District-wide events;

 

Support service delivery teams by coordinating and executing marketing promotions and day-to-day communication;

 

Coordinate and develop short-and long-term marketing communication strategies.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Bachelor's degree in marketing or communication

 

Excellent writing skills for editing news releases, web content, marketing brochures, etc;

 

Good graphic design skills;

 

Proven ability to work in cross-functional environments;

 

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Photoshop (or illustrator);

 

Experience in the technology and/or education industry a plus;

 

Web site design and maintenance experience a plus;

 

Experience planning and executing events a plus.
