Marketing Communications Assistant

Job Description: Houghton Mifflin Company, one of America's leading publishers of textbooks, Educational software, fiction, nonfiction and reference works has a Marketing Communications Assistant position available in the College Division.

 

 

 

The Marketing Communications Assistant will report directly into the Director of eMarketing and Market Strategy and the Manager for Communications and eMarketing. Along with providing administrative support to the eMarketing group, this position is responsible for processing all the invoices for the department using the SAP system. From time to time, the assistant will also be asked to aggregate expenses using Excel. Also, the assistant will be responsible for completing any overflow in the department, tasks that may range from proofreading to web site maintenance. Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with a professional and positive attitude; and must be a self-starter.  This is a perfect position for anyone seeking exposure and experience in marketing and web design.

 

 

 



Job Requirements:


Candidates must have exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills. BA/BS a Must! Position also requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel as well as an ability to grasp new technologies.  Experience with Quark, Adobe, Dreamweaver, and Flash a plus
