Oil & GAS REGULATORY ANALYST

Oil and gas company seeks experienced Regulatory Analyst to support Engineering, Geology and Land staff in an aggressive and active drilling and exploitation program. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

? Prepare and file regulatory forms pertaining to drilling and completion, workovers and recompletions, plugging, salt water disposal conversion, pipeline permits and all other functions required to support an active drilling and exploitation program.

? Generate and track Operated and Non-Operated AFEs and distribute to appropriate personnel.  Responsible for maintaining, updating and generating reports from an existing AFE database.

? Prepare and distribute Working Interest Owner reports which involves interaction with Land, Geology and Engineering personnel as well as limited interaction with the Working Interest Owner. 

? Responsible for various environmental tasks such as spill notifications and reporting, air permits and various other environmental matters as needed.

 

Requirements:

? Minimum of 5 years of regulatory experience with emphasis on State regulatory filings.

? General knowledge of oilfield procedures and terminology with focus on drilling and completion operations.

? Experience with Texas regulating agencies required.  Experience with Louisiana regulating agencies a plus.

? Proficient in word processing (Word or WordPerfect) and Excel. Familiarity with Access is a plus.

? Must be a detail-oriented self-starter with excellent organizational skills who can handle multiple responsibilities in a fast paced environment.
