Occupational Safety Officer

This is a highly visible opportunity for a professional who can enhance and enforce principles and compliance plans centered around fire / disaster / security / occupational / life safety of patients, staff and visitors.
Working within JCAHO and federal/state/local standards at our Towson, Ellicott City and Jefferson campuses, you will plan and develop proactive security and emergency procedures, involve police and fire organizations in new strategic goals, and create training materials/guidelines for management. Requires 5-7 years of safety and security management experience; a degree in Occupational or Environmental Safety & Health or similar field (MS preferred); strong analytical and research skills; supervisory skills; and knowledge of current safety re-engineering trends in
healthcare.
