PROPOSAL/BUSINESS WRITER
Solution Center Proposal Writer
Main responsibilities include preparing customized proposals, responses to formal Requests for Proposals (RFP/RFI), presentations and other requests for proposal information from our operating offices or sales team members. The writer will work closely with the consultants, subject matter experts, and client account executives to create the final proposal. The writer is also responsible for quality control on all documentation delivered to customers.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide outstanding writing in formal business proposals.Analyze and understand customer requirements (based on needs assessment data provided) in order to craft proposals that meet those requirements.Write client-focused content for proposals, proposal collateral materials, and professional client presentations.Assist subject matter experts in gathering and sorting relevant proposal information, and determining the most logical flow of proposal components.Develop sales presentations based on proposal content and requirements Ensure adherence to instructions and deadlines in formal Requests for Proposals and Requests for InformationContribute and assist in updating standard proposal content on a regular basis.
Experience
Experience writing business proposals or professional grants.Strong experience in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in Visio a plus.Excellent written communication skillsStrong project management skillsStrong analytical skillsStrong attention to detailsAbility to handle multiple projects, priorities and deadlinesWork well in a team environment
