Peoplesoft Finance Developer

 

Major Purpose of Job:

 

Corporate IT Development Services Group. The associate will assume responsibility for key components of business-driven, IT initiatives. The major focus of the position is to support all Client functions with their systems initiatives, predominantly in the Finance and Accounting areas. The associate will be responsible for supporting Financials & Billing   systems.  Provide assistance with problem troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution for problems. Works  closely with the customers. PeopleSoft Financial -- knowledge of Accounting and Finance preferred.

 

Education/Experience Requirements:

 Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience.
? 5 to 8 years of  Software  development  and  Software maintenance experience ?Must have excellent familiarity with PeopleSoft FIN version 8.x tables and process architecture, the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) and PeopleTools.
?Ability to provide effective systems development using the following software tools and languages: PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Application Messaging, PeopleSoft Workflow, Crystal and SQR.
?Demonstrated ability to work with customers to provide software solutions.
?Experience working with Oracle and a solid working knowledge of SQL.
?Effective interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
?Strong team player.
?Demonstrated skills in writing/reviewing technical documentation and specifications and performing integration/system testing.Unix scriptingPrefered VB experienceFull time position with EDS -
