CDI is seeking a Senior Health Analyst to design, lead, and conduct a Statistical Project for a Disease Surveillance Program for a DoD client.? This is a year long contract that will go to perm for a client in the Columbia, MD area.

Duties:
Review and analyze a variety of disease surveillance data using statistical methods.
Design study protocols to support analysis projects and research efforts.?
Serve as the lead analyst that will require gathering, organizing, and analyzing large quantities of data and information from various Federal, State, and Local agencies.
Research, review and analyze sources of data such as health behavior data, environmental data, health utilization and health status data.??
Support program and project managers by interfacing with sponsors, writing white papers and proposals, and managing resources.
Prepare written and verbal reports and briefs.

?Required Skills:?

Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or Biostatistics
5-7 years professional experience with one or more of the following tools: Matlab, Java, Stata, or SPSS.?
Skilled in the design, analysis, and interpretation of scientific studies and able to apply statistical principals to specific problems in applied disciplines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate through publications and formal presentations.
Strong interpersonal skills.
US citizenship Active Secret Clearance or no impediments to getting one.
