Planner/Inventory Control Administrator

The Planner/Inventory Control Administrator is responsible for making sure that all inventory transactions are recorded and completed in keeping with Corporate and Sarbanes Oxley guidelines. 

 

? Sales Order Planning?The ?PICA? plans all customer orders and change orders into the MRP system.  The PICA works closely with inside sales administrator to determine customer needs and to negotiate ship dates.

 

? Finance Relations and SOX Procedures ? The PICA works closely with the Accounts Receivable Coordinator regarding all phases of credit worthiness including new customer set-ups and credit holds. The PICA is responsible for following internal SOX controls and for recommending changes to procedures as warranted.

 

? BaaN ERP Sales, Planning and Purchasing Modules Expert ? The PICA must be expert within the Sales, Warehouse and Purchasing modules of BaaN to complete the following:

 

? Cycle count adjustments ?  Cycle count adjustments must be done on an as needed basis to transfer Inventory between product families.

 

? Disti Reversals ? At the end of each day, after shipments have been processed return orders must be entered into the ERP system returning inventory to distributor warehouse pending distributor POS report.

 

? Receiving ?  The PICA  is responsible for receiving incoming shipments into the ERP system

 

? Daily Inventory Count and Report ? Component inventory count is verified daily and a report is distributed electronically to Operations personnel.

 

? Shortage Report ? The shortage report is generated to identify possible inventory shortages for the following 2 weeks.

 

? Plan Test Inventory ? The PICA will work closely with Test Technician to ensure that test schedules coordinate with customer ship dates.

 

? Back-end Processes ? The PICA will be responsible for coordinating all back-end processes with outside vendors.  Back-end processes include laser marking, co-planarity scans, burn-in, baking and dry-pak.

 

? Vendor Order Confirmation Data ? The PICA is responsible for recording expected receipt dates for all incoming product shipments into the MRP system.

 

? Inventory Shelf life ? The PICA is the primary person responsible for monitoring date code and dry pak expiration. The PICA must coordinate with the Quality manager on non-routine shelf-life issues.

 

? QA Inspector?Adhering to established procedures inspects incoming and outgoing shipments.  Fills in paperwork and reports discrepancies to QA Manager.

 

? Export Report Data ? The PICA is responsible for filing quarterly reports with the Bureau of Labor Statistics as well as semi-annual encryption export reports.
