Supervise planners for the Major Trades of I&C, Electrical, Mechanical Maintenance and Construction. Has the overall responsibility for leadership, direction and oversight of all aspects necessary for planning work to support the online and outage workweek schedules at PINGP.  Responsible for the assignment and review of work for Major Trade Planners.  Provider leadership for the coordination of minor maintenance and emergent activities with scheduled work.  Maintain and monitor performance indicators for maintenance planning.  Responsible for meeting planning milestones for on-line scheduling and outage preparation.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years working in nuclear or industrial plant Operations, Maintenance or Engineering Departments is preferred.  Five years of experience associated with planning or scheduling of the Major Trades. Familiarity with industry codes and standards.



Education

Associate Degree in a technical field or trade school certificate preferred.

Certifications/Licenses

RO/SRO preferred.

Additional Information

Must be able to interact with all PINGP departments including but not limited to Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Radiation Protection, Warehouse/Purchasing, Security, and Quality Control Etc. Highly developed verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills. Must demonstrate or have the ability to develop mechanical print reading skills. Ability to manage multiple/competing projects and priorities to meet critical deadlines. Must demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills. Self motivated with a positive attitude. Must demonstrate or have the ability to develop computer skills that are required in order to be proficient with CHAMPS and EMPAC as a minimum. In addition, the individual selected is required to serve on the emergency response organization roster and carry a pager.

 Additional Information
Travel to support NMC objectives and act as a member of the emergency response organization may be part of the requirements of this position. 

Candidates must satisfy all Company and Nuclear Regulatory Commission security requirements.
