Process Engineers & Technicians

My customer is a dedicated automated injection molder specializing in the medical market.  They seek both Process Engineers and Technicians.
Both positions are support positions capable of bringing both process support and higher level of trouble shooting and expertise to manufacturing and engineering.  Both positions are growth positions.
The Process Technician will focus on setups, debug. troubleshooting and processing while supporting the Process Engineer who will help perform mold trials, higher levels of troubleshooting, evaluations and documentation of processing results. The PE will develop manufacturing plans and will reduce costs through cycle time optimization. Will set up and monitor mold maintenance guidelines. Practical hands-on understanding of materials and how it relates to processing optimization. Must be flexible in making changes with direction and support and direction from engineering and customers.

Minimum of 5 years in plastics and injection molding processing.
Degree or Certificate in Plastics Technology preferred, however years of experience as equivalent will be considered.
Must posses the technical knowledge of injection molding presses, support equipment, thermoplastics and injection molds.
Must have experience with processing thermoplastic engineered and high temperature resins. Knowledge of manufacturing and monitoring systems.
Must possess excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read, interpret and develop documents, instructions, operation manuals, safety rules, etc
