Product Designer - GIRLS

Job Description:
Hasbro (NYSE: HAS) is a worldwide leader in children's and family leisure time entertainment products and services, including the design, manufacture and marketing of games and toys ranging from traditional to high-tech. Create and refine new product ideas for employer's girls' toy line; collaborate with design team to develop concepts based on consumer and market preferences; manage design development efforts for assigned product lines; determine costing methodologies for products; determine and test material selection, structural requirements, tolerances and aesthetics of new products; create and refine design of new and existing products and propose rules, themes, names, styling and overall design approach for such products; execute concept sketches, color and volume studies, renderings and control drawings; oversee production of prototypes of such products; determine design flow of new products, establish milestones and develop schedules for production of such products; ensure products meet employer's design standards for quality, cost, reliability, safety and consumer satisfaction; manage product design work with internal and external groups, including Far East support teams.

Candidates must possess the following:

- A minimum of Bachelors Degree or Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Industrial or Toy Design and 6 months' experience as Product Designer.

- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, 3D Max and Rhino.

- Experience in wood, plastic, wax, clay, foam core and 3D plush pattern modelmaking.

- Girls' toy industry experience.
