Product Manager - Industrial Lighting

Our client is a leader in industrial and high abuse lighting products. They are seeking a product marketing guru with thorough understanding of organizational development, knowledge of process behind product development, and distribution of electrical products.

 RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

?  Translate market needs into product requirements

?  Develop and implement product marketing plan

?  Develop product positioning and pricing

?  Develop training materials

?  Work with Sales, Product Development and Engineering teams to bring new product concepts to market

?  Launch products to end users and distributions partners through trade shows, training seminars, customer visits and other opportunities

?  Once products are launched, monitor products through their life evaluating and determining product modifications, variations and accessories

?  Evaluate product modification for impact on product plan.

?  Manage existing product lines

?  Maintain market information on competitor product activities, advances in technology, application trends, customer requirements, and any other elements that offer opportunities or insights into new products and/or revisions to existing products.

?  Analyze promotions, product strategy, media spending, sales targeting, etc.


REQUIREMENTS:  

 

?  Bachelor's degree

?  Three plus years experience in sales engineering, quotations, marketing, product development or related position in the lighting industry.

?  Excellent organizational and project management skills

?  Excellent communication skills, including interpersonal, and large group presentation skills
