POSITION PURPOSE


Serve as a product manager for InfiniPath products. Determine product strategy and requirements to maximize the business value of products. Produce detailed requirements and provide leadership and direction for all product roadmaps and plans.



PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


Determine and prioritize product requirements that meet target customer needs


Define required feature set, functionality, and performance characteristics for future high-speed networking hardware and software products


Proactively communicate with current and prospective customers to understand product requirements


Become an expert in our target application segments and drive features into the product line that will provide the best differentiation and highest potential sales


Fully understand the competitive environment and our differentiation


Work closely with engineering, support and our field organization to prioritize requirements


Determine target product pricing and cost structures for maximum profitability



 Required Skills

Strong verbal and written communications skills.


Be action oriented, a strategic thinker, and possess a ?can do? positive attitude.
Have an engineering undergrad degree.


MBA desired.


At least 7-10 years of product management or product marketing experience at a leading computer systems, networking, systems software or storage subsystems company
