Product Marketing Manager 2 (2005802)

Responsible for managing, developing and implementing product marketing activities to maximize sales of an assigned product line. Reporting to Vice President of Marketing.

Direct Product Marketing Initiatives: assessment of existing and potential markets ongoing research and reporting on competitive products and services development of product development strategies management of product promotion programs including new release, sales support, and marketing collateral


Manage Product Development Process: creation and management of marketing requirements for product development Direct development prioritization, process and deadlines to meet ad hoc client needs Coordination of technical product development and quality assurance testing Management of product development release process and deadlines.


Administrative Expectations: Delegate assignments to subordinate managers. Involved in developing, modifying, and executing company policies, which affect immediate operation(s) and may also have company-wide effect. Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions and/or customers. In some instances may be responsible for managing a staff function and may not have subordinate managers. Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management. Anticipates and identifies complex business needs and recommends solutions to complex problems.


REQUIRED SKILLS:

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously. Requires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public. Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department. High energy level esssential.


Experience: Bachelors degree or higher in related field. 7-10 years product marketing experience in software and/or services products Product line management experience including ownership of P& L responsibilities Pharmaceutical marketing experience highly desired in a services or software firm English fluency required.
