Project Analyst - Internet
Job Description: Supports and assists in the design, development, and implementation of JCP Direct Internet programs as assigned to achieve improved
processes, web site functions, customer experience, and, ultimately increased conversion of customers shopping the site to generate
profitable Internet sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supports and assists in the design, development, and implementation of JCP Direct Internet programs as assigned in the Internet work
groups of Customer Service, Site and Content, Media Integration, Merchandise Operations, or eMetrics.
2. Provides analysis, data collection, reports, search support, and coordination as assigned and requested within the Internet functions.
3. Assists in and supports the development and implementation of new programs for the Internet for continuous improvement and
optimization of the functioning and customer service levels of the website.
4. Works as assigned on coordinating tasks and efforts of the Internet with other areas of JCP Direct (e.g. Merchandise, Advertising,
Marketing, Inventory, and Operations) to assure all plans and programs for implementation are executed effectively.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
1. Collaborates with associates throughout all areas of JCP Direct in the day-to-day functioning of the Internet.
2. Interacts as required with external parties in the industry to facilitate functions of the website.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelors degree. Major in business, technology, or marketing discipline preferred. Masters degree considered a plus.
Experience: 1 - 2 years experience, preferably in Internet/e-Commerce environment.
Core Competencies: Proficient with personal computer and technology tools; Experience working with Excel, Powerpoint and research databases such as LEXIS/NEXIS, Forrester, Gartner, etc., very good follow through; strong analytic and numeric ability; strong
team orientation and comfort level with rapid change and fast pace.

Keen attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Candidate should be able to translate analytics, data and technical reviews into concrete findings and recommendations.
