Project Land Surveyor

Please visit carlton-engineering.com to learn more about Carlton, our team members, and the communities in which we live and do business.  The project surveyor will be responsible for coordination of outside consultants, agencies and clients on diverse land development projects.  He/She will supervise a project team of survey and cad technicians and be responsible for project schedules, budgets, deadlines, quality assurance and quality control.  Occasional local and out of state travel will be required.  A successful land surveyor will have excellent communication and organizational skills in addition to the ability to focus and schedule time efficiently.  This position offers a level of independence and control of own activities.  It also offers interaction with clients and agency representatives and a great variety of tasks.  This is a full time salaried position with full health benefits.

 

Required:

~ L.S. registration, California preferred

~ Eight years of overall experience

~ Six years of commercial land development experience with land development projects such as topographic, boundary, construction, and A.L.T.A. surveys

Preferred:

~ Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Carlson SurvCADD proficiency a plus

~ Experience in Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado and Yolo Counties is highly desirable
