Project Manager 2 - Los Alamos

Position Summary:



Project manager for D&D of projects at DOE facilities. Duties include - assist in marketing and lead development, scope D&D projects, prepare bids and proposals, interface with clients, execute full life cycle of D&D projects, manage project scope, budget and schedule, and prepare reports. Ability to travel as needed to bid and execute projects. Work will entail radiological and hazardous waste constituents.



Requirements:



BS degree in engineering or appropriate science, ten to fifteen years minimum applicable professional experience in D&D and heavy construction, project management skills in cost reimbursable and fixed price environment, strong verbal and written communication skills, team leadership skills, experience with DOE policies and procedures, marketing/seller/doer skills, expereince in working in DOE radiological environment and understanding of H&S issues associated with rad work environment.



Job Conditions/Environment:



Good heallth and ability to navigate in the field (including radiological environmenet with applicable safety protocols) enviroment. Place of work will be, for the most part, in a home office and field office work environment. Ability to travel and live away from home at times required.
