The Proposal Coordinator contributes to the preparation of proposals to government agencies, corporations, public utilities and cultural institutions. This position reports to the Vice President, Administration.

 

Responsibilities:

? Monitor, identify, track, analyze, and evaluate procurement opportunities.

? Provide technical services ? proposal back office management, recruitment, graphics, budgeting, proofreading/ editing, packaging and delivery

? Participating in full life cycle of proposal development

? Working with compliances matrices

? Analyzing RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and white papers.

? Prepare presentations.

? Maintain daily record keeping, including management of library and database.

? Program development administration.

? Gather, analyze, organize and filter information.

? Conduct research.

? Perform extensive word-processing, formatting, spreadsheet production and graphic design, file and configuration management tasks.

? Support multiple simultaneous proposal efforts as well as light administrative duties: to plan and facilitate meetings, filing and phone support.

 

Qualifications:

2- 5 years of significant on-the-job experience and documented work history producing and managing proposals, technical documents and/or equivalent large multi-section sales documents using MS Windows and MS Office applications. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Graphic arts and/or graphical editing skills are desired

 

 

Requirements:

? Bachelor's degree.

?  Thorough knowledge of RFP Process.

?  Thorough knowledge of Federal procurement process preferred.

? Experience with proposal development and production for Government Contractor preferred.

? Technologically savvy: Internet, Microsoft Word and Excel, comfortable managing graphics, databases and using Excel functions.

? Strong editing and proofreading skills.

? Highly organized-, detail oriented.

? Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

? Proactive and take initiative, self-motivated, self-starter

? Able to work under time pressure and/or deadlines

? Ability to periodically work weekends and/or long hours.

? Flexibility. Ability to switch gears quickly.
