I.POSITION SUMMARY

The Proposal Development Coordinator will be a member of the APLL Supply Chain Engineering group and provide analytical and written proposal development support to the Sales and Business Development initiatives working with the assembled project teams. 

 

II.  PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide analytical and written proposal development support  Coordinate proposal response efforts so that customer proposals are sent out on time and adhere to high quality standards.  Interact closely with team members from Engineering, Sales, Operations, and IT/IS in preparing proposal responses and customer presentations.  Help develop and articulate solutions and package the developed solutions into winning proposals.  Maintain and enhance Key Issues & Answers database.  From time to time, support Sales and Marketing efforts through proposal and presentation material development, research and data mining.

IV.  MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. Knowledge of financial analysis and marketing experience preferred. 

2.  Familiarity with logistics industry is a definite plus

3.  Four-year college degree or equivalent 

4.  Familiarity with financial analysis and marketing preferred

5.  Project management skills are a plus

6.  Ability to conceptualize solutions to complex supply chain problems and to publish these in concise and understandable manner is important.

7.  Familiarity with desktop publishing software (MS Office Suite of products) is required

8.  Some travel required
