 Description

Manage the buying staff (4) and administrative assistants (2).



Plans and implements activities related to the procurement of materials, electronic and electro-mechanical parts & components and equipment.
Directs the activities of buyers to accomplish company objectives.
Reviews and approves purchases up to a specific dollar amount.
Develops policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

 Required Skills

Bachelor?s degree in business or engineering.
5 years experience in purchasing or engineering environment as a purchasing manager or engineering project manager.
Prior supervisory experience, excellent coaching/mentoring skills.
Strong knowledge of Syteline.
Has a significant amount of product knowledge of the items procured and manufactured by Input/Output, Inc. MISD.
MBA, CPM and 5 years work experience in the Geophysical/Seismic industry.
