Quality Manager/Supervisor

Rhinehart Developmewnt Corporation is a family owned manufacturer, supplying stamping and fabrication services to customers world wide.  We seek an experienced, action oriented,  professional to lead our Quality Team as described below:

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

?  Knowledgeable of the operational requirements of the ISO-9001:2000 Quality System.

?  Good communication skills.

?  Experienced trainer, able to formulate concise lesson plans and deliver structured training in order to achieve 

  quantifiable increases in employee knowledge and capabilities.

?  Team oriented people person.

?  Computer experience (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and others).

?  Certified Quality Manager or Certified Quality Engineer (C.Q.E.)- Preferred

?  Laboratory experience to support operational needs

?  Accomplished in interpreting prints/drawings.

?  Experienced in performing FMEA, Layouts, PPAP and Dimensional Reports.

?  Experience with gage and measurement system calibration.

?  3 - 5 years experience in manufacturing and quality related activities preferred.

?  Supervisory experience required.

?  High School Graduate Required ? Additional Formal Training Preferred.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITY:

 ?  Maintain and Continually Improve ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System

?  Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to the product, process and quality system.

?  Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system using appropriate methods and documentation.

?  Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.

?  Verify and record the implementation of solutions.

?  Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

?  Represent the needs of the customer in internal functions addressing the requirements of the Quality System.

 

 ?  Knowledge of customer specific requirements, specifications (wants, needs and expectations)

?  Coordinate the generating of TPI?s (Traveling Process Instructions), as required.

?  Provide appropriate Certification documents for lot shipments.

?  Respond appropriately to Customer Complaints and Concerns, documenting fully and follow-up with appropriate problem solving tools.

?  Coordinate the calibration and management of inspection devices.

 ?  Assist Sales and Engineering by providing input for quotes.

?  Manage the Plant Quality Activity

?  Train and Delegate appropriate floor quality resources.

?  Assist the organization with SPC data entry/knowledge/analysis, as required.

?  Maintain and improve the goodwill image of the company (includes property management 

 and housekeeping).

?  Fulfill duties of Document and Data Control Coordinator

?  Maintain all files, masters and controlled quality documents

?  Responsible for Control of Quality Records

?  Inspection and Testing coordination

?  Coordinate outside lab testing as required, within Quality System guidelines

?  Other projects as assigned by the General Manager - Rhinehart Development Corporation.
