Regional Sales Manager - Atlanta

Can you sell services to company executives such as the VP's of Human Resources? Can you build trust at this level? Would you like to be paid for performance? My client is a progressive, 20-year old company that provides consulting, testing and evaluation services that companies use during pre-employment and ongoing testing and screening of applicants and employees. The company has been very successful and expanding at greater than 10 per cent per year. It provides a value-added set of services which are protected by patents and copyrights. Though very successful and profitable, the company wants to double their growth rate by expanding the sales force with 3 additional Regional Sales Managers, one in Atlanta and also Chicago and Dallas. The Regional Sales Managers must be located in these perspective cities but will cover the six to nine adjacent and nearby states. Apply for any of these three locations.


The Regional Sales Manager calls mostly on the top human resource officer to explain their unique products and services. Though the products are superior, the prospective customer may be more familiar with older-technology products for testing, screening and evaluation, and could be resistant to change. However, my client has found great success with a sales force that is able to reach decision makers and build credibility through honesty and integrity, offers clear product explanations and sells benefits. Once the barriers to change have been penetrated, the value-added services offered by my client have a great record of success.


The successful candidate must have a 4-year degree and a proven track record covering at least 5-10 years selling consultative-type products, someone with honestly and integrity who can quickly establish credibility with company executives.


The Atlanta position is based in Marietta, not far outside the Perimeter. You will travel by car or plane throughout the Southeast states to service accounts and develop new business. The compensation is very performance-based with uncapped commissions, and there are excellent benefits as well. With a base of about $65,000, the commission at target sales levels will bring total compensation to 6 figures, and outstanding performance could be significantly higher. They are the leader and have an excellent product line.
