As Regional Sales Manager, you will take charge of the sales within the assigned multi-state region.  You will need to reside in Southern California, and work out of a home office.  You will:


- Sell directly to OEMs.


- Manage the Independent Rep and Distributor networks.


- Nurture and develop existing accounts.


- Develop new accounts.


- Provide product training to Reps and Distributors.


- Provide marketing data to the company targeting trends and product development potential within the market place.


 


This position reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing.


 


 


 


To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:


- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical field.


- 5 Years minimum Outside Sales experience in a technical arena, OR 3 Years Sales experience with prior Engineering experience.


- Knowledge of pneumatic products.


- Experience working with Independent/Manufacturer’s Reps or Distributors.


- Ability to travel 60 – 70%.


- Strong organizational and time management skills.


- Ability to lead, motivate and encourage the sales network.
