Research Assistant - Robeson County

The Department of Radiology at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Research Assistant for a project located in Robeson County.  This position is a part-time assignment scheduled to work 20-24 hours per week, for a two year period. Position will provide support to a newly funded Practice Based Research Network, doing an initial study of diabetes, within a network of primary care practices in Robeson County.  Position will maintain communication with the 15 clinics, and the Research Director at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Duties include data collection, and conducting chart reviews in the clinics. Individual must have good organizational skills, excellent communication skills, reliable and able to work independently. Some medical knowledge is desirable.
