The Integrated Data Systems Department of Siemens Corporate Research, Princeton, NJ, has an opening for Research Scientist in the Multimedia Modeling and Optimization Program.


The candidate through his/her past experience should show proficiency in the following:- Optimization techniques - Statistical data modeling, estimation and analysis- Nonlinear Systems- Applications in Reliability modeling would be a plusIn these positions you will be conducting leading-edge research and prototyping for medical and industrial applications.


We will only consider candidates holding a Ph.D. in Applied Math, Operations Research, Statistics, Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or related fields with a strong, proven record in problem solving and research (leading journal and conference publications). In addition, candidates must have C/C++ or Java proficiency on MS Windows platform and be able to effectively prototype their ideas. Candidates need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, be able to work independently on problems, be an effective team player and be willing to accept challenges and responsibility.
