POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

 
Manage and direct 8 – 12 stores in the northern Chicago area.
Recognize, recruit, hire, train, and motivate your team to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and drive sales and profit.
Use your strong merchandising skills to direct teams to drive district sales.
Motivate and inspire teams to high performance and friendly, responsive customer service.
Communicate the company’s vision, initiatives, goals, and strategies to all team members.
Provide training and development for store teams.
Manage a budget to best service the needs of the district.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

 
Ten years in a multi-unit management experience in a specialty chain, discount department, off-price, home center and/or other mass-merchandising store.
Experience in a fast-paced retail setting with multi-tasking focus.
Proven experience in recruiting top talent and providing training and leadership to build exceptional teams.
Proven ability to motivate and develop staff at all levels.
Experience with apparel and hard lines strongly preferred.
Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and build outstanding guest loyalty.
A degree in Business, Management, or comparable field preferred.
Ability to develop creative plans to increase store sales.
