Risk Management Analyst

SUMMARY

 

As Red Bull Risk Management Analyst, you?ll be assisting in the administration of the core Risk Management program.  You're responsibilities will include supporting all business units and Red Bull North America staff with their insurance needs on a daily basis, resolving any outstanding issues and assisting with various insurance renewals under the direction of the Risk Manager.  So, if you have the need to partner with people throughout the organization, bring it. 



 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 



Assist with Insurance Renewals
Gather and maintain all underwriting information for Property, Workers Compensation and Transit lines of coverage 
Complete all necessary applications for RB?s entities to secure these coverages  
Work with payroll and HR to complete all necessary Monopolistic States Workers Compensation filings

 

Workers Compensation Responsibilities
Assist Field Staff with appropriate forms for reporting Workers Compensation Claims and work with HR as necessary on lost-time injuries
Maintain loss runs for workers compensation claims, looking for trends or repeat offenders  
Create and maintain all claims files
Review claims periodically to assist in resolution of open claims
Facilitate all claims reporting and loss control efforts for these various lines of coverage
Identify all OSHA reportable injuries as claims occur under Workers Compensation Laws
Establish formalized claims reporting for WC for RB entities for the insurance carrier and service providers
Analyze loss data to identify trends and create training opportunities if appropriate (workers compensation, safe driving, etc.)

 

Property/Transit Coverage
Maintain a complete and accurate schedule of all property values for each RB US operating unit
Handle and resolve any property or transit claims as appropriate
Assist with property inspections as requested
Keep internal claims listings updated

 



Certificates of Insurance
Assist with the review and processing of the high volume and fast paced requests from internal and external individuals to provide evidence of the company's insurance coverage ? consult with Risk Manager on whether these requests require a written contract to be developed between parties 
Watch for high risk requests (e.g. special events, animals, pyrotechnics, aircraft, watercraft, etc.) and work with Risk Manager for direction in special circumstances
Request preparation of certificates and distribute accordingly
Review incoming certificates for accuracy and either approve or return to vendor for corrections.   

 

Contract Review


Assist Risk Management Department with contract review from all sources (internal and external ) for proper insurance and indemnification language
Determine if amendments are required or identify deficiencies in RB?s insurance program to meet contractual obligations

 

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of five years of Risk Management / Workers Compensation / Safety experience and knowledge of business insurance coverages
Position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel and Word
Ability to work on line Risk Management Information Systems as provided from various insurance carriers. 
Individual must be able to effectively prioritize their tasks and work independently in a fast paced environment, while also providing the necessary departmental support
Strong organizational skills are necessary.
