There are nine manufacturing/sales facilities and several full-service distribution facilities, giving our Client a unique vertical position in today's dynamic marketplace. All of our Client's facilities are able to provide numerous value-added services supported by our full-service technology center located in Connecticut. Distribution supports their distributor customers with all products manufactured by the company with the objectives of reducing transaction costs, increasing efficiency and managing consolidation through a single point of contact. In addition, they provide field sales engineering services for on-site design assistance. Our Client's core purpose is to enhance the competitiveness of their customers by reducing their cost through solution selling. While other companies out source production to Asia, this company continues to grow in North America and Europe.


Our client is looking for one talented Sales Engineer to cover maintain existing business and grow sales among the the major Tier 1 accounts in the Detroit, MI area. This individual will be an experienced applications sales engineer capable of delivering solutions to the company's current and prospective clients. Degree and a minimum of 4 years application sales experience preferably in the fastener or metal components industry. Cold heading experience would be a plus. The right candidate will enjoy an excellent compensation plan consisting of salary, incentive, car allowance and home office equipment and expenses.
