Sales/Sales Support/Combined Cylce/Boilers

  We’ve got a great opportunity for you if you have excelled at selling power generation equipment or developed business in the power industry for an EPC firm.  As a Sales Person in our relatively small company you can truly affect the strategic future of the company, make a name for yourself, be supported for a creative sales effort and not get bogged in the bureaucracy of a large organization.  What we need is a producer with a proven track record, high energy,  and an above average understanding of performance and engineering principles of steam boilers,  HRSG’s (Heat Recovery Steam Generators), combined cycle plants and heat transfer, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics. 


 


If you are not in a sales position now but rather support of sales or project management this could be your opportunity to make a change.  Again, if you know combined cycle power plant equipment or theory and have a personality for sales we will seriously help you consider if this would be a good bridge for you.


 


Primary Responsibilities include:


 


Proposal Development, leading negotiations and combining the technical and commercial customer needs in order to close contracts.


 


Develop sales opportunities and key accounts prior to proposal preparation.  This includes presentations, pre-bid meetings and networking.


 


Assist in preparation and updating of business plan, sales strategy, forecasts and defining market share information.


 


Suggest product improvements based on customer needs.


 


Manage all customer communications


 


Direct the Proposal Engineer.


 


Requirements:


 


Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (BSME, BCE).  MBA a plus.


 


Minimum of 10 years of experience in the power industry and 5 years in sales or sales support role
