We are seeking an individual (part time) to provide technical, laboratory, and instrumentation support to Blood Bank and Immunohematology projects. The candidate will execute designed experiments, perform basic lab-scale testing, analyze, interpret, and summarize data. The individual will work under the supervision of a Senior/Principal Scientist. The position will be 1st shift approximately 80% of time but requires flexibility to work swing shifts as project needs/deadlines dictate.



The qualified individual will have a minimum of an Associates degree or equivalent and a minimum of two years of related experience is required. An advanced degree is a plus. Previous experience with clinical laboratory instrumentation and/or blood banking assays is required. A demonstrated proficiency in assay/instrumentation troubleshooting is required. Strong oral and written communication skills are required.

Must work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Experience within diagnostics product manufacturing is a plus. Previous experience with cGMP and cGLP is preferred. A Medical Technologist?or Clinical Laboratory certification is preferred.
