Security Protection Officer (1099)

Description

Beta Analytics International/Analex Corporation is seeking Security Protection Officers for their Arlington, VA Site. Successful candidates will serve as the POC for the receipt and safeguarding of National Security Information with the management of overnight storage containers during non-duty hours.

Employees will be required to inventory and control employee and visitor badges. Employee will provide unarmed security at SCIF sites and control access to these sites by implementing NISPOM procedures. Duties will also require the employee to monitor CCTV and alarms and respond to alarm activations and open/secure vaults. Employee will be required to be trained and knowledgeable of access control and alarm procedures in order to activate and deactivate alarm systems and open/close vaulted areas. Employee will be required to assist and respond to emergency situations requiring evacuation procedures and provide limited unarmed emergency response to emergencies

 Required Skills

Basic computing skills are necessary in order for employees to access and update personnel/ visitor information databases.

Position requires TS and that you be nominated for special access information

4 years experience and BS degree, or
8 years relevant experience in security related discipline

 Required Experience

Possess security entry control experience gained from past employment at similar DOD or government controlled facilities.
