Job Description:
Role Summary:

This role within Risk Management is responsible for identifying, driving, and tracking successful pricing initiatives with our business partners in Marketing, CSB, and BT.



Key Deliverables:

? Development and error free production of a pricing monthly portfolio performance package that encompasses both the portfolio and specific segments as appropriate

? Operates as subject matter expert in pricing, both default, contractual, and risk based. Takes lead in identifying, researching, analyzing and communicating emerging trends in the portfolio and the impact these trends will have on portfolio performance.

? Develops and implements industry benchmarking reports and techniques to increase business intelligence on portfolio pricing. Specific usage and leveraging of benchmark data from 3rd party sources and innovative approaches.

? Makes recommendations and advises organization on the performance and outlook that encompasses pricing and key drivers or 2nd order effects.

? Provide ad-hoc analysis as needed to support business needs on the personal loan portfolio

? Supports annual development of enhanced pricing and TL capabilities, including leading the in-depth financial and predictive analysis underlying optimal design

? Develop and lead enhanced methodologies for risk based re-pricing, deploying as business needs dictate.



SKILLS
Required:
Experience:

? Minimum 1-2 years professional experience within the credit card or financial services industry preferred.

? Strong knowledge of industry practices and performance measurements.



Competencies:

? High degree of proficiency with statistical software and other analytical tools, including SAS, MS Excel, Power Point and Teradata/SQL.

? Detail oriented with aptitude to implement quality controls throughout work processes.

? Excellent analytical skills, including financial analysis, NPV and breakeven analysis, development or program or segment P&Ls, etc.

? Results driven with the ability to work under own initiative. Demonstrated problem solving, decision-making, and leadership skills required.

? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to present findings and recommendations to Senior Management.

? Demonstrated project management skills, including ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and follow through on completion of complex, high profile projects.

? Masters Degree, MBA, or applied Social Sciences with emphasis in quantitative disciplines (statistics, econometrics, etc.)
