Senior Buyer

Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner.  Acquires and maintains tech understanding of products purchased.  Performs cost analysis and volume planning for major com.

Duties & Responsibilities:

?  Support purchasing activities related to Manufacturing, IT, R&D, Operations and Facilities. 

?  Sources alternate materials for Manufacturing and indirect material.

?  Prepares general RFPs for new and existing items

Requirements:

?  Diverse problem solving capabilities, using analysis and evaluations to identify factors.  Demonstrates good judgment in obtaining solutions.  Interacts with Senior internal and external personnel.  Uses Skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company procedures

?  Minimum of 5 years of related experience

?  BS/BA preferred
