Senior Buyer – Electronics
Must be fluent in German
Our Client is looking for an enthusiastic buyer to develop, implement, and manage product line sourcing strategy. This also includes global opportunities, negotiation of supply agreements, and rationalization of the supply base according to product plan. This person will also be in charge of maintaining alignment to product line and supplier strategy.
The position will also require:
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Provide support to plants for both strategic and poor performing suppliers
- Participate on all assigned product line Cost Reduction and Product Management Teams, using Six Sigma methodologies to drive idea generation and execution.
MUST HAVE:
-Fluent in German language
-Bachelor’s degree in Supply Base Management, Marketing or Engineering preferred
-Green Belt Certified
-5 years experience with electronic sub-assembly or electro-mechanical components. Automotive preferred
- CPM/CPIM a plus
Travel Required: 25%
