A growing IT and Financial Services consulting firm seeks an experienced senior communications specialist to support one of our thriving government contracts in downtown Washington, DC.

Responsibilities include:
?Designing and developing a communications strategy for a large government agency.Delivering clear, concise messages as appropriate to various levels of management; utilizing relevant communications methods and technologies.Developing and implementing targeted communications plans.
?
A successful candidate will have 7+ years of experience in developing, implementing and sustaining sound communications strategies.? Federal experience or Federal communications consulting experience is strongly preferred.? The incumbent must have experience in a variety of communications methods and communicate through a variety of technologies.

The candidate must also be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented, bottom-line driven culture.? Clear and effective communication skills are required.? A bachelors degree in a related discipline is required and salary is commensurate with experience.
