Senior Solution Consultant
(Artificial Intelligence Software for the Retail Industry)

Responsible for providing specific retailer expertise to the sales and implementation processes, working very closely with account executives to understand the prospect's business and identify key challenges and opportunities. An integral part of the account team, the SSC will assist in the building and presentation of a value-based ROI solution for the prospect.

Duties include:
? Studying the prospect's current use of existing applications including business process and methods.
? Understanding and differentiating other competitive offerings.
? Creating compelling presentations/demonstrations that address the prospect's needs.
? Developing business cases to support our value proposition.
? Interfacing with all divisions at prospect companies to determine business needs or problems.
? Mapping challenges to proper solution components.
? Responding to prospect RFPs.
? Managing implementations and pilots in prospect or client environments.

Travel is approximately 25% - 60% and may involve international travel.

Requirements include:
? At least five years of experience working in a high-tech software company, ideally selling or supporting the sales of planning, allocation, merchandise and/or financial software solutions.
? Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to establish good relationships with key contacts.
? Excellent presentation skills.
? An ability to function effectively in virtual teams.
? Sales consulting, business process consulting and/or project management experience.
? At least seven years in a minimum of four different retailer P/A organizations, including at least three in management.
? Demonstrated knowledge of various approaches to models and processes within retailers.
? Excellent computer skills and writing capabilities
? Must be an effective team player, a contributor, dynamic, innovative, creative, able to share information, and work in a team environment.
