Senior V.P. of Marketing - Consumer Products

THE COMPANY: Our client is a global leader in the consumer products field with several dominant brands in the housewares market.  Long recognized at a resourceful marketing organization, they are widely respected for their product quality and innovation.  They are also considered an industry leader in the art of market research and the science supply chain management.


 


THE POSITION:


The Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for directing the development of one of our client’s leading houseware brands.  This will involve managing the entire product lifecycle, including brand development, product management, and marketing communications.  The position reports to the Division General Manager and has six direct reports.  The responsibilities will include developing and managing merchandising strategies, promotion strategies, public relations initiatives, trade alliances, website concept, product design, pricing strategies, category strategies, packaging concepts, and trade show strategies.


 


THE REQUIREMENTS:


· Bachelor Degree in Design, Marketing or Business is desired


· 8+ years of progressive Marketing and Product Management experience in the consumer products field, including staff management and development


· Ability to travel both domestic and international
