SERVICING QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure exceptions noted in the reviews are corrected and corrective action to prevent re occurrence in implemented.Manages the analysts of the Quality Control area by organizing, recruiting, hiring, motivating and developing staff who re-verify, review, and rate the accuracy of the servicing processes to investor and AHM policy on loans selected for monthly audits.Creates and enhances quality control reports to demonstrate loan quality trends to senior managementRecommends, monitors and follows-up on corrective action plans if and where needed in order to improve loans servicing processes and procedures.Creates and oversees targeted reviews to compliment the review schedule.  Target reviews should add value to the servicing area and are performed as needed.Review loans that have been selected by investors for repurchase or indemnification and prepares a logical argument as to why this actions(s) needs to be taken.Prepares and leads monthly Quality Control Committee meetings.Manages the development and use of the Servicing Quality Control databases.Determines and implements the monthly audit selection process.Download servicing file to database for loan population selection.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Undergraduate degree, preferably business-related7+ years experience in servicing. 5+ years in servicing audit/quality control management in  a mortgage loan servicing environment.Extensive knowledge, understanding and experience with all aspects of loan servicing.Effective team builder with strong leadership and communication skills who is able to work across departmental lines in order to effectively execute Quality Control PlanDemonstrated ability to analyze and identify potential pitfalls.
