Shipping & Receiving/Facilities Assistant

Amplifon USA, a leader in the hearing health care industry, is searching for an experienced Shipping & Receiving/Facilities Assistant

 

Position Summary:

Position?s main purpose is to provide shipping / receiving services to Amplifon headquarters.  The position will also provide support services for all building related functions.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



Provide full shipping / receiving services to the Amplifon headquarters facility including all incoming and outgoing mail distribution.

 

Responsible for all cubicle modifications, which include adjusting cubicle work surface heights, installing cubicle accessories and cubicle wall changes.

 

Responsible for the distribution, tracking, maintenance & repair of the buildings 10 portable LCD projectors, which are loaned and shipped across the country on an as needed basis.

 

Responsible for administering door access cards and alarm security codes to all employees on an as needed basis.  Troubleshoot and repair door and alarm system problems.

 

Assist the Building Manager with all levels of building related responsibilities to include but not limited to administrative paperwork, general building interior and exterior maintenance which includes changing building lighting / ballasts, winter snow shoveling, HVAC work, etc.

 

Order and maintain sufficient quantizes of building restroom supplies, lighting, and other related

Building supplies.



 

Education and Experience Requirements:High school diplomaPost-secondary education in all phases of building operations preferredMinimum of two years shipping/receiving and facility/building maintenance experience. 

 

Required Skills: DHL / FED X / UPS shipping systems equipment experience.Experienced with facility systems furniture installations and modifications.  Excel / Word / AutoCAD experience. Must posses the ability to work unsupervised, make decisions on least cost ways of shipping all types, sizes and quantities of packages.

 

Physical/Mental Demands:

Position can include but not limited too lifting up to 100 pounds, exposure to external conditions in all seasons, exposure to heights and hazardous fluorescent bulb replacement.
