Global Integrate Supply Chain
The Global Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) organization is a consolidation of Global Procurement, Integrated Supply Chain, Distribution and Manufacturing Operations. This organization has the responsibility to design and implement the most responsive and cost-effective supply chain in the industry to enable IBM to gain market share, grow revenue and profit, improve cash flow, and enhance customer satisfaction. The Global ISC team works in a collaborative environment on a multitude of projects and assignments, ranging from procurement and supply chain management, to design and test, to technical support and product configuration, in support of the manufacturing and fulfillment of IBM eserver equipment, storage systems, and personal and printing systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify spend/savings areas within the various categories of spend. Foster Supplier Relationships to develop and negotiate sourcing strategies. Networking ability to work in a matrix organization and ability to interact globally. Ability to learn and apply IBM's purchasing procedures and strategies Support Business Transformation Outsourcing procurement engagements, theindividual will be responsible for the development and implementation of regional sourcing category strategies to ensure contract deliverables are met or exceeded. This role will report to the Global Sourcing Manager within the ISC Procurement Sourcing Organization. Job offer will be contingent upon IBM winning Contract. 30-50% travel is anticipated. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in at least one of the below areas: 1) facilities management, 2) architectural and construction services, and/or 3) proven real estate experience and knowledge in leasing. Successful candidate must be able to effectively handle compressed schedules, high expectations, unsettled situations and the ability to

Major Field of Study: Engineering degree highly desirable
