Job Responsibilities

 

-  Prepare various financial analysis and presentations to senior management to assist in critical decision making; be an interface with the business development team on strategic account penetration.

-  Provide necessary research for externally facing opportunities to include: business development meetings.

-  Drive current Director of Business Development?s calendar for business development opportunities, seminars, conferences, academics and associates and other thought leadership activities.  

-  Obtain firm understanding of the dynamics of the business from different angles (financial, strategic, operational) and participate in the crafting of corporate strategy

-  Manage the activity of the office and history by tracking contacts, results and potential opportunities.

 

-  Projects may involve diverse areas of exposure such as:

o  Inform new product development decisions such as pricing, revenue / cost impacts;

o  Analysis and support work on business development and marketing partnerships, including assessment of economics / terms of trade, participating in structuring and positioning deal terms;

o  Perform ROI analysis on potential internal and external investment opportunities;

o  Research competitive offerings and performing SWOT analysis across the market

o  Create and maintain critical business processes, such as operational reports for key departments, tracking progress, and driving progress

Qualifications

 

-  Bachelor?s degree from an accredited University

-  2-4 years of work experience in management consulting, business development, investment banking, venture capital  or strategic planning; experience in telecommunications preferred, but not necessary

-  A self managed and directed work style; must be able to work individually and in teams

-  Proven organizational and follow through practices. 

-  Excellent written, interpersonal and oral communication skills.

-  High energy, good attitude, and the willingness to go the extra mile

-  Exceptional skills in MS-Office suite, including Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
