Sr. Manager, Business Intelligence (025-010)

The Sr. Manager, Business Intelligence will be responsible for managing the business analysis needs of the company and will be a key player in driving initiatives to develop new analytical tools for the company.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


? Develop and define new tools and processes to support the analysis of our business
? Work across functions to define and coordinate the introduction of new analytical tools to drive revenue or increase efficiency
? Review and prioritize analytical requests of department to ensure all projects support revenue growth or efficiency gains
? Facilitate the transition of the Business Intelligence team and the customer base to new analytical platforms and tools (Business Objects XI)
? Interface with clients to define their requirements and ensure their satisfaction.
? Effectively manage analyst team to support key departments and European operations
? Build and develop new ideas and products and ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
? To share information and learnings in both an informal self-initiated manner as well as through formal presentations.



Skills:


? Experience with Business Objects XI or other similar platforms
? Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
? Ability to balance technical and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technical and business experts.
? Ability to follow through with tasks and task completion.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech, rapidly growing and exciting environment.
? Ability to handle challenges and provide quality solutions on time and within company budget.
? Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and employees, along with working with external clients, or customers.
? Ability to maintain own work flow and meet deadlines.
? Ability to possess strong leadership, communication (both verbal and written), and customer service skills, and exchange information with others clearly and concisely.
? Ability to respond to frequent pressure to meet deadlines when work speed and sustained accuracy are paramount.
? Ability to respond to frequent demands of multiple customers (internal and external).
? Ability to meet attendance standards and work long hours when necessary.
? Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a work team.
? Ability to work with minimal supervision

 


Education / Experience:


? Bachelor?s degree in related field, AND
? 5-10 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence or related position,
? Or relevant combination of education and experience.
? Experience with Business Objects XI or other similar systems
? Experience in the Internet Industry and in a start-up environment is a plus.
