Description
The successful candidate will work with engineering to understand technical requirements for prototype creation in a lab environment. Proficiency with hand tools and small machine tools and the ability to quickly construct devices such as electrical chassis, and front panels for prototype equipment is required, in addition to proficiency in soldering and handling of small surface mount components. The candidate must be able to read and interpret schematic diagrams, and will also conduct tests using DMM, RCL, DC/AC power supplies, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzers, and RF Network Analyzers. Other tasks will involve contact with material suppliers, the support of product development with the creation of drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Excel, and Visio, and the maintenance of the R&D lab.
Required Experience
AA Degree in Electronic Technology or military equivalent.
5+ years working in a R&D, or product development team.
A general enthusiasm for all thing electronic and mechanical.
Qualified candidate should be able to work with minimum supervision
Candidate should have good verbal and writing skills.
