State Filings Production Technician

STATE FILINGS PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

 

We are an insurance consulting firm with a job position open in our Regulatory Compliance unit. We are looking for someone with dedication, self-motivation and a good attitude to help us submit insurance filings to State Departments of Insurance on behalf of our clients, while making sure that we comply with departmental requirements in doing so.  The ideal candidate would be someone responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure, with the ability to multi-task and understand the importance of meeting deadlines.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Review Property-Casualty insurance filing materials

- Complete state-specific transmittal forms

- Calculate filing fees

- Enter complete and informative notes in the project tracking database.

- Complete all assigned tasks accurately and within set timeline.

 

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

- Attention to detail

- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

- Work efficiently against deadlines

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Ability to follow directions and procedures

- Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously

- Familiarity with MS Windows 2000 or higher, Proficiency with MS Office applications, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel

- Willingness to learn new skills and help peers whenever needed

- Prior experience working in a professional office environment a plus

- Knowledge of Property-Casualty industry a plus

- Ability to manage a high-volume of work while maintaining things organized

- Bachelor Degree preferred
