Functional Responsibilities:

? New Item Set-up ? This position will monitor the activity to set up new items which ensure that all of the required data for Cuno and 3M systems is completed in a timely manor. This person will manage the flow of this process and must perform strong and relentless follow-up in obtaining all the data elements from the responsible functions.  In addition this individual is the ?Gate Keeper? to ensure completeness and timeliness of this function and strong follow-up is a key factor.

? Supply Chain Analyst Support ? Duties as assigned:

? Monitor and respond to any order flow issues (all types) resulting from the system transfer of orders from the country order (origination) through to Cuno JDE.  Analyze and address kick-outs so orders can be processed accurately.

? Load Customer Profiles, relationships, and pricing into 3M systems as required. 

? Respond to customer inquiries and requests and ensure that customer needs are communicated to each plant accurately.

? Act as a liaison between the manufacturing plants and 3M locations (including shipping locations) or customers and represents the company in resolving issues such as on time performance and expediting.

? Specific international expertise is required such as export compliance knowledge and familiarity with international financial tools such as bank drafts, letters of credit, security export declarations, and other necessary export documentation.  In addition, familiarity with specific country requirements such as labeling and legalization are necessary.

? Performs other duties as assigned.

? This position reports to the Supply Chain Analyst

 



Requirements:

? 5 years of related experience ?

 



Key Competencies Required:

? Knowledge of all processes with regards to the flow of orders through 3M Systems and JDE from the end user customer to the source of supply.

? Knowledge of international methods and documentation

? Knowledge and familiarity with JDE People Soft and with IT Systems

? An ability to learn and train certain aspects of the order management processes

? Demonstrates computer literacy and a good working knowledge of applicable software (micro-soft excel) with the ability to extract and analyze system data

? Ability to work in multi-functional team settings

? Decision Making ability to understand, identify and analyze business needs.  React and proactively make decisions that will impact the achievement of the business goals and operational effectiveness of multiple teams and work groups.
