Survey Crew Party Chief

Please visit carlton-engineering.com to learn more about Carlton, our team members, and the communities in which we live and do business.  The survey crew party chief will be responsible for training, leading and overseeing the safety of a 2- or 3-person survey team, working effectively under project-specific budget and schedule requirements.  Occasional local and out of state travel will be required.  A successful survey crew party chief will have excellent communication and organizational skills as well as proficiency in mapping, topographic, and construction staking calculations.  This is a full time salaried position with full health benefits.  This position offers opportunities for ongoing training, clearly defined standards, and recognition for a job well done.

 

Required:

~ L.S.I.T. or equivalent field experience

~ Four years of experience, in the office and the field, with land development projects such as topographic, boundary, construction, and A.L.T.A. surveys

Preferred:

~ California L.S. or L.S.I.T. registration

~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCadd a plus
