Wallace Group has been in business since 1984, and offers civil engineering, mechanical engineering, surveying, planning, landscape architecture and construction management services. Our main office is located in the City of San Luis Obispo in the Central Coast area of California. Our branch office is located in Martinez.



We have openings for Surveyor/Party Chief, Survey Technician/Crew Member and Survey CAD Drafter in our San Luis Obispo office.


 

Surveyor/Party Chief

Requirements: Bachelor?s degree in Surveying or related field, California professional land surveyor registration or ability to obtain within six month, and a minimum of 5 years of field and office experience.



Duties: Responsible for all facets of control, topographic, boundary and construction surveys.



Specific Experience: GPS & Robotic Total Station experience desirable. Knowledge of TDS software and AutoCAD 2002 LDD3 a plus.

 

 

Survey Technician/Crew Member:
Requirements:  Minimum of 2 years in field and office experience. BS in Survey or related field and CA LSIT preferred. Experience in the areas of control, topographic, boundary and construction surveys, and knowledge of GPS, Robotic Total Station, TDS software and AutoCAD 2002 LDD3 preferred.

 

 

Survey CAD Drafter:



Requirements: 5 years of experience using AutoCAD and Land Development Desktop; LSIT preferable.  (Wallace Group currently uses AutoCAD 2002 and LD3)

 

Duties:  Responsible for preparation of maps including Record of Surveys, Parcel Maps, Final Maps, Topographic Surveys and ALTA surveys, and exhibits for Legal Descriptions.  Experience in preparing calculations for construction layout a plus.
