System Support Specialist II - 12449

Purpose:

 

As a Systems Support Specialist your responsibilities include, but not limited to, the day to day management and support of Contact Center infrastructure a productivity and efficiency tools. The Systems Support Specialist will assist in project and business resumption processes necessary to support the lines of business. On a daily basis, monitoring and support on Internet, Voice Response, and other Banking applications are performed. This position often requires response and issue resolution during nights and weekends as necessary to meet business needs. Experience with the Internet, Voice Response Systems, Mainframe, Banking, and working on cross-functional teams is strongly preferred

 

Functions and Responsibilities

 

?  Facilitate resolution of reported issues with the appropriate responsible areas and communicate status of these issues with effected users

?  Provide support 24X7X365 in order to facilitate the tracking, escalation, and resolution of system issues

?  Liaison between Vendors, and Business partners to maintain productivity and efficiency

?  Work closely with lines of businesses, technical groups and 3rd party vendors on requirements and defects as necessary

?  Participation in change management and implementation

?  Create and maintain small database solutions

?  Project support for post implementation support procedures

 

Requirements/Skills/Experience

 

?  College Degree or equivalent preferred work experience required.

?  Strong change management experience required along with excellent communication and organizational skills.

?  Internet, Mainframe, and Voice Response experience preferred

?  Strong Interpersonal and analytical skills mandatory

?  Ability to follow through and follow up

?  Ability to effectively communicate with Business partners and Developers

?  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required

?  Access database, Project, Visio experience highly desirable

?  Desktop support experience preferred

?  Detail oriented with ability to multi-task

?  Self-motivated, independent worker

?  Facilitation, mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

?  Excellent communication skills ? written and oral
